Joel Klein is CEO of Amplify and executive vice president in the office of the chairman of News Corporation. Prior to this, Klein was chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, where he oversaw a system of 1.1 million students and a $22 billion budget. Klein also served as the former chairman and CEO of Bertelsmann, Inc., the assistant US attorney general in charge of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, and the deputy White House counsel to President Clinton.
