Jason Chua is a founding member of SparkTruck, an educational build-mobile that helps students create tangible examples of their creative potential. Through fun, hands-on workshops using 21st century maker tools like 3D printers and laser cutters, SparkTruck is bringing a buildy confidence back to the masses. SparkTruck was first conceived at the Stanford d.school in the fall of 2011, and this summer, will be making a cross-country road-trip, helping kids find their inner maker. Chua is a designer, maker, and explorer of new ideas and holds degrees in product design and mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
