Gregory Yep is the senior vice president of long-term research at PepsiCo. He has responsibility for long-term science-based strategies for core ingredients and their impact on food, flavor, metabolism, and nutrition to drive breakthrough innovation for growth in all PepsiCo products. He is also the lead scientist for the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI), a facility aimed at expanding knowledge on sports nutrition and exercise science that enhances the performance and well-being of athletes. Prior to this, he held the role of global vice president of application technologies at Givaudan Flavors and Fragrances. He is recognized for his contributions to numerous scientific publications and lectures to the scientific community.
