David Laibson

Robert I. Goldman Professor of Economics, Harvard University

David Laibson is the Robert I. Goldman Professor of Economics at Harvard University and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His focus is behavioral economics, and he leads Harvard’s Foundations of Human Behavior Initiative. Laibson serves on several boards including the Health and Retirement Study and the Pension Research Council. He also serves on the Academic Research Council of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
