Dave Dillon

Retired Chairman, The Kroger Co.

Dave Dillon retired as chairman of the board of directors for The Kroger Co. in January 2015, after eleven years of service. He was Kroger’s CEO from 2003-2013, president from 1995-2003, and executive vice president from 1990-1995. He was president of Dillon Companies, which is now owned by Kroger. He served in a variety of leadership roles with the company’s King Soopers division and with Fry’s Food Stores. Dillon serves on the boards of public companies, universities, and nonprofits, including DIRECTV, Union Pacific Co., University of Cincinnati Foundation, University of Kansas Endowment, and the University of Kansas Hospital Authority.
